1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide when registering (name, email, phone number, city), when posting or responding to tasks (task descriptions, photos, budget), and during identity verification (national ID or passport, selfie). We also collect usage data such as pages visited and actions taken within the platform.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to operate the Graft platform — connecting clients with workers, processing payments, verifying identities, and resolving disputes. We may contact you about your account, task updates, or platform news. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Identity verification

To protect all users, we require identity verification before allowing posting of tasks or bidding on work. Your ID documents and selfie are stored securely and encrypted. They are only accessed by authorised Graft staff for verification purposes and are never shared publicly.

4. Payments and financial data

Payment transactions are processed through our payment partners (Pesepay, EcoCash, Innbucks). We hold funds in escrow until work is confirmed complete. We store transaction records for accounting and dispute resolution purposes. We do not store full card numbers or mobile money PINs.

5. Data sharing

We share limited data with: payment processors (for transactions), identity verification partners (for KYC), and cloud infrastructure providers (for hosting). We may share data if required by Zimbabwean law or to protect platform safety. We never sell your data for advertising purposes.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting support@graft.co.zw. You may also delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Note that transaction records may be retained for legal compliance.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain session security. We use analytics cookies (anonymised) to understand how the platform is used and improve it. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

8. Contact
